Allotment Open Day – Book Your Guided Visit

Curious about allotment gardens and allotment gardening? Come along to our Allotment Garden Open Day as we celebrate National Allotments Week and discover what it’s all about!

Book a time slot and enjoy a guided tour of one of our allotment plots. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to see how an allotment is managed throughout the growing season, learn about what’s involved, and ask any questions you may have. Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply thinking about taking on a plot, this is a great chance to gain first-hand insight in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Our volunteers will be happy to share their experience, offer practical advice, and help you understand the rewards and responsibilities of allotment gardening.

Please note:

• Groups are very welcome and only need to register your interest once per group.

• Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

• Children are welcome but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

• Please take care when visiting the allotment, as the paths and ground may be uneven and conditions can vary.

• Sturdy, sensible footwear and clothing suitable for the weather on the day, is strongly recommended.
